After trying the simple, fresh flavours at supper we were desperate to return to try more of the menu. After the hype had died down, we did just that: rolling up for brunch. More brunch classics also get an Ottolenghi twist: green shakshuka comes with duck egg and focaccia, and avocado tops jalapeño cornbread for a classy take on avo toast. At brunch the semi-circle bar is buzzy without being heaving. You’ll leave feeling smug for having eaten so well and been somewhere so cool, early on a weekend.
