There Are Tons of Shirt Jackets Out There, But This One Might Be the BestIn Northern California, my closet is 90% flannels and shirt jackets, sometimes called “shackets.” You know, a button shirt down that’s thicker, roomier, and has pockets, so it can double as, well, guess. They work with pants and shorts, on the town and on the trail. Ever since I received it, the Maloja Badin has been the only one I’ve worn. I wear it hiking all the time, but also mountain biking on cold days, or just riding a bike around town. Maloja is named after a small Swiss mountain town with an ancient rope tow to access some uncrowded powder stashes.
